Inside the film.

June Liao inspects foundations in the fictional basin town of Elkhorn Wells, where every home traditionally stayed put. When a bungalow uproots itself with a family still asleep inside, she discovers an entire seasonal route blocked by a six-lane interchange. The first season follows June and teenage surveyor Milo as a world simulation moves each structure according to slope, memory, and human choices within rules authored by the writing team.
