The Bricks Change the Night Shift

Inside the film.

In the fictional city of Mörtelruh, buildings are never final: each night, twelve bricks of the Red service column detach from a wall and continue building elsewhere. When the only amber-colored window refuses to stay in the torn arch, the bricks split into carriers, climbers, and two small mortar mixers. The episode follows exclusively this non-human night shift, whose legs, loads, and memories are continuously transformed through a rule-based digital world, without depicting real structures or companies.
