One Lap Before Sunrise

Inside the film.

Walter Moss cleans the fictional Sunbird Galleria, including a rink closed since his daughter was a child. On its final night, he finds a pair of size-eleven skates and asks security trainee Priya to time a single lap. Mops become course markers, a floor buffer supplies music, and Walter learns that finishing upright matters more than speed; controlled skating and a synthetic empty-mall extension support the live performances.
