In 1944, ration cards decide what every family can eat. Cook Jeanne writes recipes so precise that a missing gram becomes a coordinate and a burned edge becomes a warning. Her kitchen feeds soldiers by day and moves resistance messages by night until one officer asks for the dish that could expose them all.
